She sticks a pan of cracked eggshells in the oven, after seeing why, I'm never throwing them away again




This mother on a budget discovered an awesome way to get some more calcium in her family’s diet. 


After rinsing out and boiling some discarded egg shells, she spread them over a baking sheet and left them in the oven on low heat. 


The end results was some crispy shells that could be ground into a fine powder with her blender. 


In the end she’s left with a powder that supplies about 400 mg of Calcium per 1/2 teaspoon. This is a great DIY alternative to buying expensive supplements from the store!
