6 Nourishing Recipes To Calm Inflammation & Heal Your Gut

Ingredients for the bone broth:

  • whole organic chicken
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 inch of ginger root

Ingredients for the soup:

  • 4-6 cups organic chicken broth
  • 2 tbsps. coconut oil
  • 1-2 cups chopped onions
  • 1-2 cups chopped carrots
  • 3-4 small zucchinis
  • 2 cups shredded organic chicken
  • 2-3 crushed garlic cloves
  • Himalayan sea salt to taste

 

Directions:

Bone broth

  • Wash the chicken thoroughly then place it in a pot.
  • Fill ¾ of the pot with water then add the herbs and vegetables.
  • 3. Brink the water to a boil then reduce heat to low and simmer for minimum 8 hours (the longer it simmers the better).
  • Let the broth cool then strain and store in Mason jars.
  • Refrigerate.

Soup:

  • Stir-fry the onions and carrots in coconut oil until the onions soften.
  • Add the bone broth then bring to a boil.
  • Slice the zucchini into a desired shape.
  • When the carrots soften, add the zucchini and simmer until tender.
  • In the end, add the chopped chicken and garlic, bring once again to a boil, then remove from heat.
  • Cover and let cool for 5-10 minutes.

Directions:
