Honey Wraps Gently Cure Cough And Remove Mucus From The Lungs In Just One Night!

Winter season never goes without some minor ailments, such as coughs and colds. Although not life-threating, these common winter illnesses can transform into something more serious if left untreated.

Dry cough is especially irritating and it makes you feel even worse because you can’t focus on anything. Not to mention that it’s also annoying to people around you. Worst of all, if dry is irritating during the day, it’s even worse at night. As they wake up deprived of sleep, most people turn to over-the-counter remedies.

Cough syrups suppress the symptoms

There’s no doubt that cough syrups are the most sought after remedy when coughs attack. But, most people are unaware that this remedy only suppresses the symptoms by inhibiting the transmission of signals that trigger coughing to the brain. In fact, most cough syrups contain these 2 ingredients – codeine and dextromethorphan, both of which suppress the signals to the brain. However, these two ingredients come with some side effects, including lethargy, headaches and increased heart rate.

What are honey wraps?

The health benefits of honey are undeniable. In fact, this food has been on the list of super foods for a long time. It’s extremely beneficial against many health problems including common cold and flu, as well as chronic cough. Using honey wraps to fight cough and cold symptoms is one of the most efficient home remedies against this type of ailments. What makes honey wraps so beneficial is that they lessen chronic cough symptoms by reducing the mucus that forms in the lungs. This DIY method to treat cough and cold is beneficial for both kids and adults.

Directions:

  • Honey
  • Olive Oil
  • Napkin
  • Gauze
  • Flour
  • Band-Aid adhesive tape

Start by mixing some flour and honey. When the mixture is not sticking to your hands, it’s ready to use as a compress. Add some olive oil and then roll it in some flour again. Next, put this mixture on a napkin, and wrap in cheesecloth. Finish by placing it on your or your child’s chest or back, using some plaster adhesive tape. It’s best to do the treatment before going to bed.

Important: When using this treatment on children, do it 3 hours before they go to bed, so that you remove the compress immediately before bedtime. However, when using it for an adult, the honey wraps can be left on overnight. Also, make sure you change your bed sheets because they will trigger a lot of sweating. Repeat the treatment for as many nights as you need or until you get a complete cough relief.

As for side effects, there aren’t any because this remedy is all-natural and completely safe. When using it on kids, make sure they don’t have any skin problems or injuries.
