Our bodies begin to act more and more against us as we get older, rather than in support of our goals. I've experimented with a number of diet plans, workout regimens, supplements, and weight loss products with little to no success. It would be an understatement to say that I had doubts as I continued my weight-loss experimentation! That is, until I did some internet research and discovered the raw honey and cinnamon detox drink.
According to experts, pounds of toxins can be living within our biological ecosystem which can lead to health issues and excessive weight gain over the years. Similarly, with over 1 million cancer diagnosis in 2015 alone, some of which stem from toxins in our system, this detox drink could help me lose weight and also keep me healthy from free-radicals and build up over time-If only the drink could pay my bills and take me shopping!
After consuming this drink for a 1-week duration, I noticed that I dropped 6 pounds from eliminating digestive toxins. Located below are a list of ingredients I used:
- 1 tbsp raw honey(any brand will do)
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 cup water (boiling)
Instructions:
Mix the Ingredients:
In a cup, combine the raw honey and cinnamon.
Pour the boiling water over the mixture and stir well.
Let It Steep:
Let the mixture steep for a few minutes until it’s cool enough to drink.
Enjoy: Sip on this warm concoction daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.
