Every 100 days, all 10–13 trillion of the cells in our body are thought to undergo cell turnover. We are literally what we eat, drink, and breathe because the only things that enter our bodies are food, water, and air! This implies that in addition to the requirement that we produce new cells every three months, there are aging cells that must also degenerate and be eliminated from our bodies.

Since turmeric employs so many different ways of killing cancer cells, researchers postulate that cancer cells might not develop resistance to turmeric (the way they do against certain chemotherapies), and it’s the reason why it’s so effective against so many different kinds of cancer.
