The Best Exercises For Getting Rid Of That Unwanted Double Chin

Although many of us have them, nobody likes to have a double chin. even those without a weight problem! I can assume that if you have a double chin, you probably want to get rid of it.

Gaining weight is the primary cause of them in the first place. Sometimes it's just the natural aging process that causes our skin to loosen up a bit. Heavens be damned, gravity! Your jaw and neck muscles are among the muscles that lose tone when they aren't used enough. But the important thing is that you have it, not how you got it.

Try this simple exercise to help get rid of it. You can work out each muscle in your face and it’ll help you get rid of it: 

 

How to Get Rid of a Double Chin

Do each of the following chin exercises 5-7 times per day:

Warm-up

  • Easy move the chin forward & backward.

“Spade” – an exercise to strengthen the muscles of the chin

  • Open your mouth wide.
  • Bend the lower lip inside.
  • Close your mouth pulling the lower jaw forward (as if you try to scoop the water).

Relax muscles

  • Easy move the jaw up and down.
  • Do this after each exercise.

“Kiss of the ceiling” – an exercise for strengthen the muscles of the neck.

  • Lift the face up and look at the ceiling.
  • Blow the kiss towards the ceiling.

Touch the nose

  • Stick out your tongue.
  • Try to reach the nose by tongue tip.

Resistance

  • Put your elbows on the table.
  • Put the chin on your fists.
  • Push your chin against the fists, trying to overcome the resistance.

  • Turn your head to the left.
  • Pull the lower jaw forward straining muscles of the neck.
  • Turn your head to the right.
  • Do the same to the other side.
