This Ginger-Turmeric-Carrot Juice Can Replace Your Pain and Inflammation Medication Forever

Thousands of Americans are poisoned by pesticides each year. In California alone, 7,600 cases of pesticide poisoning were reported between 2000 and 2008. Two hundred of these individuals were hospitalized.

The truth about pesticides

Pesticides are often used by farmers when growing produce. They are sprayed all over the crop as a means of controlling pests, and keeping bugs from damaging and appearing in our foods. While they have good intentions, these chemicals are so toxic that they may actually be doing much more harm than good.

Many pesticides have been linked to cancers, birth defects and learning disabilities. These poisons have also been tied to neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease after having been found to disrupt the signals between our neurons.

A simple solution

In order to protect yourself and your children from pesticide poisoning, you may want to consider turning to organic foods, like the ingredients found in the recipe below. Organic foods aren’t sprayed with pesticides and are grown with natural fertilizers, which are free of harmful chemicals. Many people have been adding the word “organic” to their grocery list to avoid the risk of brain damage. In addition, organic foods may also be better for your health.

Research suggests that consuming organic foods allows you to get the maximum benefits from the antioxidants found in many fruits and vegetables. Since organic foods aren’t grown with foreign chemicals likes conventionally grown foods, they aren’t mixed with elements that may negatively interact with different vitamins and minerals, which these foods have to offer and are essential to your overall well-being.

Get your antioxdants

Citrus peels in particular, like the lemon found in this recipe, are rich in antioxidants. In fact, they contain a greater amount of antioxidants than vitamin E. These antioxidants work to keep your cells healthy and protect them from cancer-causing damage.

Turmeric, another ingredient that is used in this juice recipe, is also high in antioxidants. This medicinal plant has much to offer your health, such as:
  • Boosts immune system
  • Prevents Alzheimer’s disease
  • Has anti-inflammatory properties
  • Controls blood cholesterol levels
  • Decreases the risk of stroke
  • Protects you from coronary artery disease

The other ingredients fount in this recipe – carrots, apple and ginger root –  are also loaded with vitamins and minerals and are great for your health. By choosing all organic ingredients, your body is able to reap the most benefits from the nutrients found in these foods.
