How To Make Turmeric Pain Relief Tea

Maybe once upon a time, we all chose to use ibuprofen-based medications (Motrin, Nurofen, Advil, and Nuprin) to treat our headaches, backaches, and other physical pains.

Ibuprofen is well known for its ability to relieve pain of any kind quickly, but it does not address the body's chronic issues.

Overdosing on these medications may result in adverse effects such as hypertension, erectile dysfunction, nausea, diarrhea, gastrointestinal bleeding, an elevated risk of heart attack, the possible development of kidney cancer, and others.

Thankfully, Mother Nature was kind enough to provide us with turmeric, a cure-all.

While ibuprofen and similar NSAIDs inhibit the Cyclooxygenase 2 or COX – 2 enzyme, and may cause further inflammation, turmeric acts very mildly yet it brings results.

Turmeric is packed with a very powerful compound, known as curcumin, which acts like a true miracle for your health. Turmeric tea falls into the healthiest, most ancient and most effective natural remedies for getting rid of pain and inflammation.

Turmeric tea is not recommended if you are breast feeding or pregnant.

What turmeric does best is, it heals the aching joints and muscles and relaxes the body at the same time. Today’s recipe focuses on how to prepare your own turmeric tea at home. You can add other ingredients, such as ginger, to boost the effects.
