Make Your Own Homemade Low Carb Drinks To Lose Weight 

 

Strawberry Infused Water


Prep time: 5mins | Chill Time: 3 hours | Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups of water, (sparkling or still)
  • 2/3 cup of sliced strawberries (100g)
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • A few springs of basil

Instructions:

Wash and slice the strawberries, cucumber and lime. Wash the basil.

Add all the ingredients to a jar of water. let chill for at least 3 hours. The longer you let the flavors infuse, the stronger they get.

Use up within 1-2 days. Keep filling up the jar with fresh water, during this time.

Fresh Ginger & Lime Tea


Prep time: 5mins | Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2-4 drops of stevia or other sweetener of your choice

Instructions:

Boil the water in a kettle.

Peel the ginger, then grate into a mug using a large coarse grater.

Squeeze the lemon and add its juice to the mug. Alternatively, place both into a tea infuser if you want to strain the tea.

Add sweetener to taste. Mix with a spoon and enjoy hot.

Blueberry Lime Tea Detox Water


Prep time: 5mins | Chill Time: 3 hours | Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
  • 1/3 cup of ice
  • 1 lime
  • 6-8 mint leaves

Instructions:

Wash the blueberries, then prick them with a toothpick.

Roll the lime between your palm, then slice it.

Squeeze the juice from two slices into the bottle.

Wash mint leaves and “clap” on them laying them flat between your palms to release the flavor.

Using a water bottle with a lid, add the blueberries, water, unsqueezed lime slices, mint leaves and ice cubes. Close the lid and refrigerate.

You can drink it right away, but it is best to let chill and infuse for at least 3 hours. Use up within 1-2 days.

Refreshing Cucumber Water


Prep time: 2mins | Chill Time: 3 hours | Servings: 6

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups of still water
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/4 tsp of salt

Instructions:

Wash and thinly slice the cucumber.

Add the cucumber and salt to a jar of water and stir well. Let chill for at least 3 hours.

Serve with or without ice cubes.

Use up within 1-2 days. Keep filling up the jar with fresh water, during this time.

Fresh Mint Tea


Prep time: 5mins | Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups of water
  • A handful of fresh mint

Instructions:

Boil the water in a kettle or on the stove.

Take a few leaves of mint into one hand and sharply clap your other hand on top. This releases their flavor.

Pour the boiling water over the leaves and let infuse for 2-3mins. Strain into tea cups or tea glasses and enjoy.

Decorate with mint leaves.

Fresh Ginger, Lemon & Turmeric Tea


Prep time: 5mins | Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 2 Slices of fresh lemon
  • 3 slices of ginger root, peeled
  • 1/2 tsp of ground turmeric

Instructions:

Wash the lemon and cut off two slices. Peel a small piece of the ginger root and cut into 3 slices.

Heat the water in a small pot with the lemon and ginger. Bring to a simmer and let steep (lid on) for 3-4 mins.

Remove the lemon and ginger. Then stir in the turmeric and enjoy right away.

Low Carb Iced Coffee

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of ice
  • 1/2 cup of cold coffee
  • 1/2 cup of cashew milk, unsweetened (or almond milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

Add ice cubes to a glass, pour over the coffee, then the milk and vanilla extract.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp of organic Matcha
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tbsp of whipping cream (35%)
  • 8 Oz of hot water (220ml)

Instructions:

Place all the ingredients in a blender, add hot water and blend until you get a homogenous mix.

Alternatively, you can blend the ingredients directly in a cup and with a hand-held milk frother

Iced Latte Fatbomb


Prep time: 10mins | Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cup of brewed coffee
  • 1 tbsp of almond butter
  • 0.35 Oz of cocoa butter (1ogms)
  • 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 4 drops of stevia (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp of ground vanilla bean
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4-6 ice cubes

Instructions:

In a high-powered blender, blend coffee, almond butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, stevia, vanilla and cinnamon.

Transfer to a jar and place in the fridge to cool completely (you can let this sit overnight)

Place the chilled mix back into your blender, add the ice cubes and blend until smooth.

Pour into a big glass and enjoy.
