We have always had a deep-rooted interest in our dreams and the things that happen in them. Dreams are easily the best way to get to know our subconscious as well as the spirit world itself.
Have you ever had a reoccurring dream, something you couldn’t shake? I know I have. I use to have a book with all the ‘dream meanings’ of things and I sure would use it too. You see, sometimes the things we dream are actually warnings of things to come or things that we are going through.
If you are dreaming of any of the things below you need to take action.
1. FLYING
If you fly it often indicates the need to reach an ambition. Where are
you going and how to get there? Are you experiencing some troubles
through life? Flying dreams often leave us recharged when we wake. That
feeling of freedom, being able to accomplish everything.
2. WATERFALLS
Water usually conveys the emotional state of mind. It symbolizes
cleansing and purity. The dream of waterfalls is a great omen which
represents new beginnings.
Once you see waterfalls in your dreams, ask yourself: Is the waterfall a
big or a small one? How are you perceiving your obstacles? Is the
waterfall in a dark jungle or a beautiful beach?
3. TEETH
A very common dream is the one with teeth. Pulling a tooth can mean that
something needs to come out, rotten teeth – the holding of fear and
anxiety. But, dreaming of falling teeth are the most typical of all
teeth dreams. They usually symbolize new situations and can cause stress
( a new job, fear of loss, lack of power in a relationship, or lies
that are being kept)
Seeing teeth in your dreams ask yourself: How do you feel about your teeth? How are we nourishing our lives?
4. DEATH
A dream of death is more common than people admit it. It feels morbid
and the dream of death usually means an end to something. Death is the
termination of ego parts. Death of anxiety and danger. Death of a
situation. Death of an idea allowing for the birth of another. Dreaming
of death can symbolize huge changes in emotions.
If you see death in your dreams, ask yourself: Where you the one who
died? Was it a loved one? These dreams can also be guidance from a
departed loved one trying to give comfort.
5. PREGNANT
Dreaming of being pregnant symbolizes a major growth and development. It can be geared to future projects and desires.
If you visualize pregnancy in your dreams, ask yourself: What are you
trying to create? What transformation are you encountering in your
waking life? Are you pregnant with possibilities?
6. HOUSES
Dreaming of houses means the self and different aspects of personality.
It depends on the type of house or different rooms so the interpretation
can deepen. An attic means hidden memories, while a basement –
intuition and unconscious mind.
If you see houses in your dreams, ask yourself: How are you taking care
of your body? How do you perceive yourself out in the world?
7. MONEY
Dreaming money allows you to wake up with gratitude. It is about luck
and how we perceive our self-worth. If you win the lottery in a dream it
can mean a change in lifestyle, and dreaming of giving money is often a
fear of loss.
If you see money in your dreams, ask yourself: Did you lose your job?
Are you in debt? What would you do if you won the lottery? Money
symbolizes the flow of life.
8. ADULTERY
If you dream of adultery it signifies sexual desires and urges that need
to be expressed. These dreams carry abandonment and fears, self-worth
issues and acceptance of a problematic relationship.
If adultery appears in your dreams, ask yourself: Are you afraid of
losing a loved one? Are you unhappy in your own relationship? How do you
feel about your body and desires?
9. FIRE
Several meanings come with fire. Seeing fire in a distance can mean
desire and transformation, playing with fire can be a warning of risky
activities. If you dream of starting a fire symbolizes anger that is
being repressed.
Ask yourself: Do you avoid risky situations? Do you spend your day putting out fires?
10. NAKED
Dreams of being naked are also very common. They connect our fear of
being exposed. If you dream about somebody else being naked it means a
situation or foretells of an illicit affair. It can also mean the loss
of respect. Just like in waking moments it is about how much something
is exposed to the world of the self.
If you are naked in a dream, ask yourself: Are you afraid of being seen for who you are? Are you overexposing yourself?
The mind will try desperately to dictate, through short visions, how our
emotions are being played. Anxiety or joy can change the way we sleep.
It’s up to us to truly be aware of how we carry ourselves during waking
hours.
