What is Eczema actually? Well, it’s a type of a skin disease that cause inflammation. The other name for this disease is Dermatitis. It’s most common to show up first on the hands or the fingers, but is not unusual to show up on other parts of your body as well.


The eczema flare occurs with itchiness, redness on the skin and white small bumps. Very similar to allergy. The disease is not contagious and can not be transmitted from another person.

There are few types of Dermatitis, but the most common one id Dyshidrotic Dermatitis. It is followed by the appearance of little itchy blisters, mostly on the edges of the fingers, toes, palms and feet.

The parts of the skin which are mostly susceptible to dirt. It takes weeks for the blisters to disappear and they could also be painful sometimes!


Here are the most common symptoms of Dyshidrotic Dermatitis:


  • Deep-set blisters on hands and feet (specifically on the edges of the fingers, toes, palms, and soles of the feet)
  • Itching
  • Redness
  • Flaking
  • cracked skin
  • Pain


What causes this disease? Fevers, having contact dermatitis or having relatives who had Dyshidrotic Dermatitis you can also inherit it from them. An interesting fact is that it is more common to develop among the population of women.


Natural remedies:

Oatmeal

Is often used because of its anti inflammatory properties. Just make a batch of oatmeal, then allow it to cool in the fridge for a few hours. Afterwards, apply it directly to the irritated area of the skin and allow it to dry. At the end, gently rinse it off with cool water.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is commonly known for its benefit for the human skin. Just apply aloe Vera gel or if you have the plant at home, apply the gel from a broken leaf directly on the irritated area and don’t rinse it.
